I was going to name this piece 'Goddess', but after reading more deeply on the crystals, 'Hope' felt more clear.
Smokey Quartz relates to the Root chakra, which is about security and covering our most basic of needs. This is our soil, the earth from which we grow strong and allow ourselves to unfold.
This stone also stood out as being helpful in gently reducing psychological sexual blocks, which in turn, would allow for clearer expression and perhaps creativity.
When we have all of our most 'basic', yet utmost necessary, needs met (like food, shelter, warmth, community, healthy family bonds, etc), we are able to direct more energy into our purpose. Therefore, Smokey Quartz may give rise to some deep evaluation and introspection concerning your current living situation and the people you surround yourself with.
Green Aventurine is another gorgeous Heart stone and is also considered to be a 'luck' stone. I think these two stones work wonderfully together in bringing about positive change for the long term.
And here I will quote The American Indian Secrets to Crystal Healing in regards to Smokey Quartz;
''It is important that our life and spiritual life are both solid. It is not for nothing that we have a physical body. We must live in it, be ourselves as human beings and accept the reality of things. Smokey Quartz will help us display this more practical, down-to-earth and solid spirit.''
Perhaps it is time for a change, to aerate the soil beneath you and plant new seeds.
What do you want to see for yourself in a year's time? 5 years' time? 10 years' time? Changes can be as gentle as you need them to be, or you can take the leap now. This is your time to choose.
Blessings.
